The Telenco Dual Sheath Internal/External Lead-In Cable – G657A2 – 1F – SC/APC – 2m Pigtail is a premium fibre optic lead-in cable designed to provide a seamless transition between outdoor and indoor fibre installations without the need for additional joints or transition enclosures.
Manufactured using G657A2 bend-insensitive single-mode fibre, the cable delivers excellent optical performance and flexibility, making it ideal for FTTH, FTTP and broadband access networks where reliable routing through buildings and confined spaces is required. Its dual sheath construction combines a durable 5.0mm UV-resistant LSZH outer sheath for external protection with a 3.0mm flame-retardant LSZH inner cable, allowing direct building entry while meeting modern fire safety requirements. An integrated rip cord enables quick removal of the outer sheath, while aramid yarn strength members provide excellent tensile strength during installation.
Supplied with a factory-terminated SC/APC connector on a 2m pigtail, the cable offers low insertion loss and high return loss for dependable optical performance while significantly reducing installation time. Its robust yet lightweight design makes it ideal for professional fibre access, residential broadband and MDU deployments.
