The national body responsible for data protection. The supervisory authority for Telkom International is the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).

A breach likely to result in a high risk of adversely affecting individuals’ rights and freedoms.

The Principles

Telenco UK shall comply with the EU GDPR data protection principles.

  1. Lawful, fair and transparent – Data collection must be fair, for a legal purpose, and transparent about how data will be used.
  2. Limited for its purpose – Data can only be collected for a specific purpose.
  3. Data minimisation – Data collected must be necessary and not excessive.
  4. Accurate – Data must be accurate and kept up to date.
  5. Retention – Data must not be stored longer than necessary.
  6. Integrity and confidentiality – Data must be kept safe and secure.
