TED® Launch Lead OS2 G.657A1 LC/APC to SC/APC – 1000m
The TED® Launch Lead OS2 G.657A1 LC/APC to SC/APC – 1000m is a professional singlemode fibre optic launch lead designed for use during optical fibre testing and network characterisation. With a substantial 1000m fibre length, it provides the additional fibre distance required when carrying out compatible OTDR testing on fibre optic links.
Manufactured using OS2 G.657A1 singlemode fibre, the launch lead combines singlemode transmission performance with bend-insensitive fibre characteristics. This makes it suitable for professional field testing environments where the lead may need to be routed and handled repeatedly during installation, commissioning and maintenance activities.
The lead is terminated with an LC/APC connector at one end and an SC/APC connector at the other, allowing direct connection between compatible optical test equipment and fibre infrastructure using these connector formats. The APC connector configuration is particularly suited to fibre testing applications requiring compatible angled physical contact interfaces.
