The TED® Cobra Rod and Frame is a professional-grade fibreglass rodding system designed for cable installation, duct proving and draw rope deployment across telecom, utility and civil engineering applications.

Built for durability and daily site use, the Cobra Rod features a heavy-duty continuous premium fibreglass rod mounted on a robust tubular steel frame with puncture-resistant solid wheels. Its modular design provides multiple working positions, allowing engineers to optimise rod handling and access ducts from different angles while improving operational efficiency.

The frame incorporates two removable guiding rings positioned at the upper and lower sections of the reel, helping achieve the best insertion angle while reducing operator effort during rod retrieval. An integrated rapid external braking system provides improved control and safety during unreeling operations.

Unlike traditional systems, the TED® Cobra Rod allows fast, secure rod replacement by a single engineer, making it a cost-effective long-term solution for cable installation contractors, telecom network operators and utility infrastructure teams.
