The RAINFORD Naval Cabinet – 33U – Left Hand Door is a military-specification enclosure designed to house and protect standard 19-inch rack-mounted equipment in demanding naval, defence and marine environments. Measuring 1570 x 610 x 800mm, the cabinet provides a robust, EMC-shielded and drip-proof solution for critical electronic and telecommunications infrastructure.

Manufactured using Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) design principles, the cabinet is engineered to withstand severe shock, vibration and challenging environmental conditions. The RAINFORD Naval Cabinet range is certified for explosion-level shock forces in accordance with Def Stan 08-123, while EMC/RF shielding performance is tested to MIL-STD 461E, helping protect sensitive equipment against electromagnetic interference.

Constructed from polyester powder-coated aluminium, the cabinet features front and rear 19" mounting rails, full-length removable rear and side panels, EMC-protected cable entry points and integrated horizontal and vertical cable trays. Honeycomb EMC-filtered ventilation supports airflow while maintaining shielding performance.

This configuration features a left-hand opening front door with two-point locking and a door-stay mechanism for convenient access during installation and maintenance. Additional features include removable lifting eyes, integrated earthing provisions and a CO₂ injector point.nWith its 33U capacity, the cabinet provides substantial rack space for installations requiring increased equipment capacity.
