The Rainford CommSafe® Single Bay Cabinet – Green – 30U × 600D is a high-capacity outdoor enclosure designed to protect active telecom, security and network systems in demanding railway and infrastructure environments.

Part of the CommSafe® cabinet range, this model provides an expanded 30U rack capacity with a compact 600mm depth, making it ideal for installations requiring higher equipment density without increasing footprint. It is specifically suited for railway systems, station communications and critical network infrastructure, where reliability and uptime are essential.

Engineered for harsh outdoor conditions, the cabinet offers robust environmental protection and stable internal conditions, safeguarding sensitive electronics from moisture, dust and temperature variation. Its IP55-rated enclosure ensures strong protection against ingress, supporting dependable long-term deployment. 

Constructed from 1.4003 stainless steel with a polyester powder-coated finish, the cabinet delivers excellent resistance to corrosion and environmental stress. It features an advanced forced-air cooling system with filtration, capable of dissipating up to ~1.0kW of heat (ΔT 10°C), ensuring optimal performance for active equipment.
