The Rainford CommSafe® Cabinet – Multiple Options range is engineered to provide robust, secure and thermally managed outdoor enclosures for active telecom, security and network systems in demanding environments.

Designed specifically for railway and critical infrastructure applications, the CommSafe® range ensures reliable long-term performance in harsh outdoor conditions, protecting sensitive electronics from moisture, dust and temperature fluctuations while maintaining stable internal operating environments.

Available in single bay, double bay and end pod configurations, the range supports flexible deployment requirements, including standard 19-inch equipment mounting, integrated power compartments and scalable rack capacities. This makes it ideal for both compact installations and high-density infrastructure builds.

Constructed from 1.4003 stainless steel with a durable polyester powder-coated finish, all cabinets offer excellent resistance to corrosion and environmental stress. Each unit is equipped with an advanced forced-air cooling system with filtration, capable of dissipating up to ~1.0kW of heat (ΔT 10°C), ensuring optimal thermal performance for active equipment.
