The Petzl ABSORBICA®-Y MGO European Version – 80cm is a professional double fall-arrest lanyard with integrated energy absorber, designed for safe progression on vertical structures and horizontal lifelines. It is ideal for telecom, utility and industrial environments where continuous attachment and safe movement between anchor points is required.

This ready-to-use system features two large-opening MGO connectors for easy connection to structures, along with an OK TRIACT-LOCK connector for secure attachment to the harness. The compact energy absorber is designed to minimise bulk while delivering effective protection.

In the event of a fall, the absorber works by progressive tearing of the webbing, significantly reducing the impact force on the user. Designed for users between 60 and 140 kg, it ensures reliable protection across a wide range of applications. The 80cm rope-arm configuration provides controlled movement and positioning, making it suitable for environments requiring shorter lanyard length and reduced slack.
