The CommScope NCC TDUX Inflatable Duct Seal is a flexible and reliable wraparound sealing system designed to permanently seal telecommunications cable ducts and help prevent water ingress into manholes, exchange vaults and underground network infrastructure.
Designed for 75–110mm ducts, the inflatable seal can be installed around existing cables, making it suitable for both new network deployments and maintenance applications. The system is compatible with plastic, concrete and steel ducting, including wall-feed-through installations, and can be used with polyethylene or lead-jacketed cables.
Once inflated, the TDUX seal provides a water- and airtight barrier up to 50kPa, helping protect fibre and telecommunications infrastructure from environmental ingress. Its flexible wraparound construction also makes installation straightforward within congested enclosures and locations with restricted access.
The seals are resistant to chemicals and bacteria, environmentally friendly and non-toxic. They can also be removed when future access to the duct or cable is required. Supplied as a pack of 10 for larger network installations and ongoing maintenance requirements.
