The Telenco Spiral Cable Abrasion Protector – 6mm provides effective mechanical protection for aerial cables exposed to rubbing, movement and contact with surrounding surfaces. Designed to fit around the cable, the spiral protector helps reduce abrasion and associated wear that could otherwise affect the cable during its service life.

Manufactured from UV-resistant black PVC, the protector is suitable for outdoor network installations and provides increased durability when exposed to sunlight and changing environmental conditions. Its 2mm thickness provides a robust protective layer while retaining the flexibility required for straightforward installation.

The protector is particularly suitable for cables installed within J-hook suspension clamps, as well as aerial networks in windy or coastal environments where repeated cable movement can increase the risk of abrasion.
