The Telenco 50m SC/APC Fibre Pigtail is a robust single-fibre assembly designed for telecommunications, FTTH and fibre access network installations. Manufactured using G.657B3 bend-insensitive singlemode fibre, it is particularly suited to applications requiring flexible routing and reliable optical connectivity over longer installation distances.
Featuring a single SC/APC connector, the pigtail provides a factory-terminated connection at one end while leaving the opposite end available for splicing into the fibre network. The APC connector format is widely used within PON and FTTH infrastructure where controlled optical reflections are important.
The pigtail features a double-sheath LSZH construction with 5.0mm / 3.0mm diameters, providing additional mechanical protection compared with standard lightweight buffered pigtails.
