The Rainford TrackSafe Double Bay Cabinet (2 × BRS SM868 Frame with Plinth Kit) is a high-capacity, high-security outdoor enclosure engineered to protect critical telecom and rail infrastructure in demanding environments.

Part of the TrackSafe™ cabinet range, this configuration features dual BRS SM868 mounting frames, providing full compatibility with rail-standard equipment configurations where non-19” formats are required. Supplied with a plinth kit, the cabinet is designed for secure installation on GRP platforms or concrete bases, ensuring a stable and durable foundation.

Constructed from 1.4003 stainless steel with a polyester powder-coated finish, the enclosure delivers excellent resistance to corrosion, weather exposure and mechanical stress. Its dual-skin insulated construction combined with natural convection cooling enables efficient thermal management, dissipating up to ~500W of heat without active components, reducing maintenance requirements and improving long-term reliability.

Designed for harsh trackside environments, the cabinet offers IP54 protection against dust and water ingress and LPS1175 Issue 8 Level 2 security certification, ensuring robust protection against opportunistic tampering. With a 35+ year design life, it provides dependable long-term performance.
