The Rainford TrackSafe Double Bay Cabinet (1 × 19” & 1 × BRS SM868 Frame with Plinth Kit) is a hybrid, high-capacity outdoor enclosure designed to protect and integrate both standard telecom and rail-specific equipment within a single secure cabinet. Part of the TrackSafe™ cabinet range, this configuration combines one 19-inch adjustable frame and one BRS SM868 mounting frame, making it ideal for mixed infrastructure deployments where both rack-mounted telecom equipment and rail-standard signalling systems need to be housed together.

Supplied with a plinth kit, the cabinet is engineered for installation on GRP platforms or concrete bases, providing a stable and secure foundation for trackside environments.

Designed for durability and long-term performance, the enclosure is constructed from 1.4003 stainless steel with a polyester powder-coated finish, ensuring resistance to corrosion, harsh weather and mechanical stress. Its dual-skin insulated design and natural convection cooling system deliver efficient passive thermal management, dissipating up to ~500W of heat without active components, reducing maintenance and improving system reliability.

As a TrackSafe solution, the cabinet is built to withstand harsh rail environments including vibration, weather exposure and operational stress, while maintaining optimal internal conditions for sensitive equipment.
