The Klein Tools VDV226-110 Ratchet Cable Crimper, Stripper & Cutter is a professional all-in-one termination tool designed for voice and data cabling installations using Pass-Thru RJ45 connectors. Combining cable stripping, cutting and connector crimping functions within one compact tool, it helps streamline cable preparation and termination for network installers, telecoms engineers and data cabling professionals.
Designed specifically for STP and UTP paired-conductor cables, the VDV226-110 supports 28–22 AWG flat or round, solid or stranded telephone and data cable. Klein Tools' Pass-Thru™ technology allows conductors to pass through the connector during preparation, helping simplify conductor positioning and reduce termination time. During crimping, the tool trims conductors flush with the connector end face, helping prevent unintended contact between conductors.
A full-cycle ratchet mechanism helps ensure the crimping process is completed correctly before the tool releases, providing consistent connector termination. An integrated wiring guide provides a convenient reference during cable preparation, helping minimise wiring errors, rework and wasted connectors.
At just 15.5cm (6.094") long, the tool is compact enough for easy storage and use in restricted working areas. Its non-slip rubber comfort grip helps reduce hand strain, while the steel construction with black oxide finish provides durability for regular professional use.
