The Telenco Air Blown Fibre Assembly (ABF) is a pre-connectorised single-mode fibre solution designed for installation through compatible microduct infrastructure. This 75m underground (UG) assembly features a compact 1.2mm nominal outer diameter, making it suitable for fibre access and telecommunications network deployments where efficient installation through microduct is required.

The smooth-sheath ABF construction uses a UV-curable acrylate resin coating with an HDPE outer sheath. Its compact construction provides the flexibility and low profile required for blown fibre installation while protecting the optical fibre during deployment.

This single-fibre assembly is supplied in a pre-terminated LC/APC to LC/APC ferrule configuration. The protected ferrule arrangement at the blowing end enables the pre-terminated fibre to pass through compatible microduct, reducing the requirement for field connectorisation once the fibre has been installed.

The LC/APC connector configuration provides low insertion loss and high return loss performance, supporting dependable optical connectivity across FTTH, FTTx and other fibre access network applications.
