The Telenco Air Blown Fibre Assembly (ABF) is a pre-connectorised single-mode fibre solution designed for installation by blowing through compatible microduct infrastructure. This 10m underground (UG) assembly features a compact 1.2mm nominal outer diameter, providing a lightweight fibre unit suited to space-efficient fibre deployment.

The smooth-sheath ABF construction uses a UV-curable acrylate resin coating with an HDPE outer sheath. The supplied datasheet specifies the construction for one or two fibres, with a nominal cable diameter of 1.2 ± 0.3mm.

This 1-fibre assembly is configured with an LC/APC connector for the air-blowing end and an LC/APC connector at the opposite end. The pre-connectorised design reduces the requirement for field connectorisation after installation, while the blowing-end assembly incorporates a protected ferrule arrangement for installation through the duct.
