The MD+ sealant is easily applied from a skeleton gun. The high-quality, one-component, flexible sealant “MD+” is based on a silicon compound that cures with air (Humidity).
After application and full curing, the thixotropic MD+ forms a plastic elastomer mass with unique qualities effectively sealing and bonding while providing high durability.
In the event of fire or heat more than 200°C, the sealant starts to expand by about 10 times its original volume which increases its density and then makes it an inferior conductor of heat, thus retarding heat transfer.
