This TED® Bladeless Cable Stripper tool allows engineers to quickly and safely open distribution cables. Allows cable opening up to 144FO and from 5.8 to 12mm in diameter. It has two locking pins, each with 4 diameter ranges. One is used for circular cuts, the other for longitudinal cuts. Crisp and precise result, without the risk of cutting yourself!
Operation is simple and intuitive: simply place the cable in the corresponding diameter according to the desired cut and lock the tool. Then pull the tool for longitudinal cutting, or turn it on the circular cutting axis. Mechanical closures ensure a constant diameter during operation. Then unlock the tool to extract the cable: the cut is done.
It is possible to open the cable without cutting the FRPs in order to release them. To do this, insert the cable into the circular cutting axis without locking the tool. This allows a first cut of the tube above the FRPs. Then make a longitudinal cut on the part of the duct to be extracted. Finally, you can pull each half of the tube using pliers to pull out the FRPs. Feel free to use a heat gun to make this last step easier.
Cutting Ranges:
- 5.8 to 6.4mm
- 7.8 to 8.4mm
- 9.8 to 10.4mm
- 11.2 to 12mm
Features a mechanical locking system.
